We are still open for boarding pets as normal during the Coronavirus lockdown. Reception opening hours are reduced until further notice, but we are still open for pet check-ins and check-outs from 9AM-Noon, 7 days a week for pet boarding and also pet food sales.
As the weather improves and the holiday season gets closer, we're getting a lot busier and life can get a little hectic. Luckily our computerised booking system is a real life saver, saving us so much time, but today it did almost catch us out.
Usually owners are very prompt dropping their pets off for their holiday here at Hilltop, but by mid afternoon there was still no sign of Tiddles the cat who was due to be dropped off at 09:30 this morning. We figured we should just call their owner to check all was ok.
Christina had mentioned to me that Tiddles owner had the surname Bloggs and perhaps his name was Joe, a quick check on the system showed that Tiddles was indeed owned by Joe Bloggs, who lives at 1 The Street, Anytown, Essex.
We'd forgotten all about the dummy bookings we'd eagerly put in when testing out the system.
